Wednesday was supposed to be "April Fools Day". The last time I even tried to do a prank on someone was probably second grade, putting a cheap hand buzzer on my hand that didn't even work; all it did was hurt me every time I went to shake someone's hand. But thats another story. This april fools day was different, though. I obviously had no childish joke in mind to play on anyone, but the joke was on me. I had just finished getting ready for school; my hair and makeup were all done. I went into my bathroom to brush my teeth, and when I came out, my mom had a crazy look on her face. "Sarah! Have you seen your face?"
I stopped immediately what I was doing.
"Ummm.. I think you have a rash on your face or something. Go look in the mirror" she told me.
I was so scared. A rash on my face? EW! I ran back to the bathroom mirror, but when I saw nothing different about my face, april fools was not going to end. I thought all day about what I could do to get my mom back. I thought about something that she would never expect, but the only way I could do it is if she got her surprise the next day. Wednesday night, when my mom was getting ready for bed, I burned a full out SCREAMO cd. I grabbed her car keys and snuck into the garage, putting the cd in her car radio. I turned the volume ALL the way up. I crept back into the house with a smile on my face, but luckily mom my didn't see me. My mom's daily routine of listening to the news quietly on her way to work would be crazy. I thought about it all night, about the look on her face when she would start her car.
The next morning, on my way to school, I got a text from my mom. "Ha Ha! Nice music" she said. I just thought that was the funniest thing ever. If I could have seen the look on her face! That screamo cd was so loud, the neighbors could probably all here it. When I got home, she told me she screamed so loud when it came on. Knowing that I got my mom like that, I really can't wait until next year for april fools day. The battle is on :) ha ha.

Spring Break! <3
Spring Break is coming really soon, and I am so excited! After having all of this cold weather, then getting warm, then getting cold again, I'm so sick of it. I can't wait for it to just stay warm, and to have a couple weeks of relaxing. I don't think I'm going anywhere for spring break, besides visiting my Grandpa in Indiana. My brother, Darren, who lives in California is coming to visit, and I'm really looking forward to seeing him because I haven't seen him in a few years. I'm not sure what we are going to do while he's visiting, besided seeing our grandpa. After that, I will probably just lay out and tan everyday, and be with my friends the whole time. The problem is, though, most of my friends are going somewhere over spring break, like to Florida. My best friend, Carly, might be going to Florida with Chelsey, so if they both go I don't know who I'll hang out with! I don't really care though, as long as the weather here is nice, I'll be fine by myself!
swimming, ughhh.
On Monday, we started swimming in gym class. We are going to be swimming for three weeks straight, jumping in the cold pool everyday. I have gym fifth hour, and as soon as we change into our bathing suits, we are jumping in, ready to swim laps. Ms. Graham makes us do freestyle, back stroke, and side stroke. It's actually kind of fun when we're swimming, and I wear goggles the whole time! (: Yesterday we had to tread water for two minutes in the deep end after we swam laps, but it wasn't hard at all. I'm really looking forward to having a free day, where we can do what ever we want and go off the diving board. The one thing that's horrible about swimming though, is after. We have about 15 minutes to get ready for our next hour after we get out of the pool. I'm sure this isn't such a problem for guys, but girls need a lot more time to get ready. It is so horrible having such a short time to shower, dry off, change into your clothes, doing something to your hair, and re-doing your makeup. Even though I'm lucky and have it fifth hour, it's still not fun walking through the halls with soaking wet hair and barely any makeup. Plus, I have to sit through sixth hour like that. On Monday, our first day of swimming, I made the mistake of wearing jeans to school. After I dried off and went to put my jeans back on after swimming, it was so hard to get them on because I wasn't totally dry. Then, I had to go the rest of the day with wet pants. Even though swimming is fun while we do it, it's not really worth going the rest of the day uncomfortable and wet. I can't wait for swimming to end, and then we go on spring break!

half-day (:
Today we have a half day at school, so we get out at like 10:30. I came late to school anyway, so that just makes the day go by even faster. I don’t even know why we have school since we didn’t have it yesterday, so this half day is kind of pointless. I’m not sure what I’m doing yet this weekend, but definitely something fun! I love weekends, especially sleeping most of the time. After this weekend, we have two days off of school next week, and then spring break is coming. I’m so excited for spring break, even though I’m not going on vacation or anything. I can’t wait to just lay around everyday especially when it’s warm and sunny out. Once summer vacation starts, it will be amazing. I think I’m going to California this summer and that will just be the best thing ever. Even though I have to wait until then, I can at least enjoy my half day today (:

MY BLOG KEEPS GETTING DELETED AND IM SO ANNOYED BECAUSE I HAD MY WHOLE BLOG DONE ABOUT WINTER BREAK AND ABOUT VALENTINES DAY AND I HAD LIKE A HUGE STORY GOING ON AND THEN IT GOT DELETED AND I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW AND EVERY TIME I GO TO MY SAVED DRAFTS IT GETS EVEN MORE MESSED UP. UGHHHHHHH WELL I NEED TO TYPE LIKE THREE HUNDRED WORDS ON THIS THING AND I HAVE LIKE FIVE MINUTES SO I WILL BE WRITING THE MOST RANDOM THINGS. WELLLLL I CANT WAIT TO GO HOME AND SLEEP AFTER SCHOOL TODAY BECAUSE THIS IS THE FIRST WEEK THAT I DIDNT HAVE CHEER. RIGHT AFTER SIDELINE WE DID COMPETITIVE WITH LIKE A WEEK IN BETWEEN AND NOW THAT THE SEASON IS OVER WE HAVE A FEW WEEKS OFF BEFORE SIDELINE STARTS AGAIN. I LOVE CHEER BUT I GET SO TIRED OF HAVING PRACTICE EVERY DAY AND THEN WAKING UP SO EARLY ON SATURDAY MORNINGS FOR INVITES AND THEN DRIVING LIKE AN HOUR AWAY. BUT I DO ACTUALLY MISS IT NOW THAT I HAVENT DONE IT FOR A FEW DAYS. I THINK SIDELINE WILL BE SO FUN THIS SEASON; WAY MORE FUN THAN LAST TIME BECAUSE OF CHEER CAMP. CHEER CAMP WAS SERIOUSLY TORTURE SINCE WERE FRESHMAN BUT NEXT TIME WILL BE FUN TO DO THE SAME THING TO THE INCOMING FRESHMAN THAT PEOPLE DID TO US
